SIMON
Connecting Innovators
SIMON—Smart Innovative Municipalities of Scandinavia Network was a regional member network of municipalities and organisations in Scandinavia. Members of the network connected around various topics, including EU policy priorities, and latest developments in the field of tourism, fishing, diversity and innovation investment. They also invested in knowledge sharing and knowledge building through showcasing SIMON members’ activities in their newsletter and at organised events.
Europlan conceived the idea of this network, built it, ran it, and maintained it through an informative dedicated newsletter on sectors and innovation investments. Europlan also acts as a platform for SIMON members to network and communicate.
