WEKIT

Accelerating immersive training through WEKIT
WEKIT stands for Wearable Experience for Knowledge Intensive Training. It is a European research and innovation project supported with 2.55 million euros under Horizon 2020. It has developed and tested a novel way of industrial training within three years (2015-2019) enabled by smart Wearable Technology (WT).
The 13 WEKIT partners representing academia and industry from six European countries have built a ground-breaking industrial-strength learning technology platform and unique methodology to capture expert experience and share it with trainees to enable immersive, in-situ and intuitive learning. This way, WEKIT aims to bring learning content and technical documentation to life via task-sensitive Augmented Reality (AR), making industrial training more efficient, affordable and engaging.
Europlan UK Ltd played a crucial role in the success of the WEKIT Project and its commercialisation, into the startup WEKIT-ECS.

BEREC

Efficient Document Management for BEREC
The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) is an EU decentralised Agency in Riga, Latvia.
In 2015, Europlan won the BEREC tender to design and implement the BEREC Information Sharing Portal (IS Portal) (https://isportal.berec.europa.eu/). The IS Portal provides a one-stop access point to public documents in electronic communications, ensuring public access to a comprehensive, regularly updated list of documents.
Europlan has successfully implemented the IS Portal and continues to provide services, including hosting, technical and emergency support, content updates, portal analytics, and any other consultation needed by the BEREC Office regarding the IS Portal.
EYE

Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (EYE Project)
Empowering Young Explorers (EYE) was a support project for future and emerging technologies funded under the EU’s 7th Framework Programme. The EYE idea was conceived by the Europlan technical team, created a winning multinational European consortium and drafted and submitted a succesful proposal.
EYE aimed to help young European researchers in various scientific disciplines realise their scientific potential in future and emerging technologies (FET) and contribute to breakthrough research. The project encouraged the generation of high-risk scientific ideas through brainstorming and interdisciplinary collaboration between young researchers. EYE also supported the development of young scientists´ leadership potential via networking and training. Starting in November 2013, the project supported a series of complementary regional and European brainstorming and training events for young scientists involved in FET–quality research, such as seminars, conferences, and summer.
The CTO and the CPO of Europlan today started as Young Researchers participating in the EYE project.
