Jana Babnik-GomiÅ¡Äek holds a Ph.D. in Parallel Computing from the Technical University of Vienna. She started her professional career in IBM as an IT specialist in IBM International Technical Center in Ljubljana, Slovenia where she was responsible for technical support in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Middle East and Africa.
Jana held different positions in HP and SRC, being responsible for strategy preparation and planning to access new markets, developing new business opportunities, identifying strategic partners, and collaborating with the multinational companies and NGOs in the region of South Eastern Europe. She is highly experienced in managing national and international projects in the field of ICT and other high-tech areas.
