Ineke Herweijer

Ineke Herweijer was born in The Hague in the Netherlands. She studied French at Leiden University and Private law at the Free University of Amsterdam. During a 20 years, political career she served as a local and regional councillor in Utrecht. As an alderwoman of the city of Utrecht she became the first President of the TeleRegions network, which was founded in 1996. Since 1998 she has been working on matters related to change management and public governance. She also served on supervisory boards of two social housing companies and for 8 years chaired the committee for appeal against provincial decisions, of the Province of Utrecht.
Ineke is strong in analysing and further developing projects and organisations in the public domain.
